This head-mounted milling machine chip guard safeguards operators from flying chips, coolant, and accidental contact with the rotating cutter/spindle, featuring a 1/4" thick polycarbonate shield (Lexan). Its front arm swings open 180 degrees to the left for easy setup and work access. No drilling is required for installation; it bolts around the quill feed selector using longer bolts provided. This guard is compatible with various manual vertical milling machines, including Bridgeport, Sharp, Jet, Trak, Prototrak DPM, HH Roberts, Clausing, Lagun, Webb, Supermax, and Alliant.
- Choose from 2 bolt patterns for barrier guards: The 2.5" square pattern (MG-2) fits Bridgeport and 95% of other milling machines
- Mounting plates are adaptable, slotting outwards to fit slight differences in machine bolt patterns, accommodating up to 2.75" or 70mm square
- Part # MG-2T offers a 3.0 x 3.5" bolt pattern, suitable for TRAK DPM3 milling machines and other brands. Refer to the mounting plate photo for more details
